For
hundreds of years society has recognised the need to relocate
valuable trees to harmonise urban development and landscapes with
human needs. Trees in inappropriate positions can be released
providing valuable new development space screening or even an
opportunity of physiological benefit from more space and a longer
life through previous overcrowding. This can
save significant cost in buying in new semi mature specimens and
ecologically helps to recycle our important treescape.
Tree
moving projects require careful feasibility and planning,
recognising the individual species, constraints and requirements.
This is undertaken by Hugo Loudon
who has 20 years experience. Hugo also uses the tree spades for his
Arboretum design, bringing a creative element to the finished
project. |

Our Optimal 880 is narrow and nimble enough to work in
nursery rows saving otherwise doomed trees (due to suppression)
it is particularly useful in golf courses, parks and forestry
plantations a high output machine mounted on a T300 Bobcat with
only one operator required.
Case example we recently moved 150 trees in 4 days at
Badgemore Golf Course Henley on Thames.
